I have been spending a lot of time working with Melissa and Kyle's photographs from their wedding at Fort Worden over Labor Day weekend. In the past week I have created two mixed media collages and designed a coffee table book with their lovely wedding photos. Melissa wanted a variety of photos of them getting ready on their big day. The photos turned out beautiful since they got ready at the charming Manrea Castle in Port Townsend. One of my favorite parts of their wedding was that Melissa's step mom made her wedding dress for her! I enjoyed photographing her preparing the dress for Melissa to slip on. I was determined to get as many photos of the dress as possible since she had worked so hard on it. It looked so great on Mel! Once everyone was pretty, we headed to the gorgeous bluff at Fort Worden State Park where the ceremony would take place. WOW! Is all I can say, I was running around like a crazy lady with my camera. Here are some of my favorite images from the bunch and a new mixed media piece. Enjoy!
