nancy and bob are getting married in their hometown of san francisco this summer. i was excited to find out that we would meet in person before their wedding this spring. they have friends in seattle and like to make the trek up north to see them at least once a year. despite what the forecast predicts, they've never had a rainy visit and the sun always shines when they are in town. nancy wanted me to do an engagement session because she was worried about being nervous or awkward in front of the camera. you tell me, does this girl look the least bit nervous with that wonderful smile? i was delighted to be the first to introduce them to gasworks park and the troll under the bridge.
I love that pink kite, for adorable detail!

these are sooo great! i may need to come back to seattle.. it was pouring rain when i went to gas works park and also to see the troll after eating at blue moon burgers.. so everything was all grey and gloomy.. i LOVE that last one with the troll peeking through! and have FUN in san fran for their wedding!!!

We'll see, though my fingers are crossed for June. But our wedding weekend was FREAKSHOW weather. I don't ever remember it being that hot here, ever. I am still profoundly greatful (I love the heat) but it should have been super foggy and freezing.
Maybe you'll be the lucky charm :)
