have truly enjoyed the genuine love of lyndsay and jason this week. they wed this fall on pier 66 looking out over the mountains and sea. beauty was all around. but nothing was more beautiful than lyndsay walking down the aisle in the stunning dress that her mom made for her. lyndsay's dad looked down from above as her brother gave her away. there was not a dry eye to be found. but the tears gave way to laughter as the ceremony progressed and jason turned on his charm. these too have such a special thing going on between them, it's that kind of thing that is hard to put into words.
just thought of the perfect words but they are not mine. they are from the song "no one" by alicia keys which played on their wedding website. after visiting their site several times, it quickly became their theme song for me. whenever i hear it, i
think of their sweetness. it's like a little music video plays in my
head. i see an embarrassed lyndsay running down an UP escalator after handing her number to jason at the mall. i see jason in shock that this girl has just ran into his life and even more shocked that she didn't fall going the wrong way on the escalator. i feel
their awkward first date. i hear the long "just friend" phone calls
that followed. i see jason all bundled up proposing on top of "the rock"
in new york city. and i see the joining of two wonderful lives and a love that no one can
get in the way of.
i know some people search the world
to find something like what we have
i know people will try
try to divide something so real
so til the end of time
i'm telling you there is
no one, no one, no one
can get in the way of what i feel for you
-alicia keys
thought i would share one of my favorite versions of their love song, go check out this cover by the very talented ernie halter. enjoy!
Wow! You really captured the spark of Lyndsay and Jason ’s wonderful wedding. Great energy and emotions. The colors are bright and beautiful while the black and white wedding photography is simply stunning. Love the distressed elements used on the aged photos. Very inspirational!
Thanks for sharing!

Wow heather. These are some of your best. My fav's: the last shot (the colors are stunning); her standing on the street with the black jacket; and the one with the red heels walking away! Love them all and you!
