A Garden Delight-Lakewold Gardens

This is the perfect fruit of labor wedding story! Kate has been a gardener and designer for 8 years at Lakewold Gardens and was married September 22nd,2007 in the gardens she has worked so hard on! She married her long time love Brian in a sweet ceremony in the shade of one of her favorite trees. Kate had a fabulous custom dress created by Crissy Wai Ching out of Seattle. I had the honor of joining Kate for her final dress fitting at Crissy's studio and capturing the moment with my camera. Crissy is a very talented designer and I would highly recommend her if you are looking for an offbeat wedding dress. She dyed the light blue satin at the top of the dress to match Kate's invitations and beautiful blue eyes! Kate also had a beautiful bouquet created by the extremely talented florist and artist Laurie Cinotto, not a single flower in this garden girl's bouquet! I asked Kate to lead us to all of her favorite bushes and tress for the portraits before the ceremony. Now when Kate goes to work each day she can be reminded of all of her friends and family that came together to celebrate "happily ever after" with her and Brian on their wedding day!
